• I have extensive experience working both independently and within studios and agencies. I closely collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create clear and meaningful designs.

    EXPERIENCE

I hold an MA in Communication, Design and Publishing, which provided me with a strong foundation in both graphic design and illustration.
From 2019 to 2025, I was part of Housatonic, a Bologna-based design studio specialized in graphic recording and facilitation. During this time, I worked on a broad range of projects for both Italian and international clients across the public and private sectors.
Since January 2026, I have been working fully independently as a designer and art director.

    APPROACH

I’m a pragmatic visual thinker: I see design as a tool to connect ideas, clarify messages, and create meaningful visual experiences.
For me, every element serves a purpose, and every visual solution carries meaning. Illustration, in particular, is part of a broader communication process and a vehicle for compelling metaphors.
My strength lies in versatility: using different skills to move across contexts, while adapting each project to its specific needs.

    WHAT I LOVE DOING

As a hardcore knitter, I like to think of my work in a similar way: unraveling complex topics and reknitting them into visual systems that are clear, well-fitted, and accessible to different audiences.
I’m especially interested in collaborating with companies, institutions, and organizations that want to make their knowledge, services, and processes more visually accessible – particularly those operating in fields often perceived as too technical, obscure, or complex to communicate in a clear and engaging way.
Alongside my design practice, I spend a significant amount of time crafting and researching death as a way to better understand life.
